وَمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ الشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُّبِينٌ ٦٩
And We have not taught him (Muhammad SAW) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is only a Reminder and a plain Quran.
- وَمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ الشِّعْرَ
- And We have not taught him (Muhammad SAW) poetry,
- وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُ ۚ
- nor is it meet for him.
- إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُّبِينٌ
- This is only a Reminder and a plain Quran.
لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ ٧٠
That he or it (Muhammad SAW or the Quran) may give warning to him who is living (a healthy minded the believer), and that Word (charge) may be justified against the disbelievers (dead, as they reject the warnings).
- لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّا
- That he may give warning to him who is living
- وَيَحِقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
- and that Word may be justified against the disbelievers
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَا أَنْعَامًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَالِكُونَ ٧١
Do they not see that We have created for them of what Our Hands have created, the cattle, so that they are their owners.
- أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا
- Do they not see
- أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم
- that We have created for them
- مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَا
- of what Our Hands have created
- أَنْعَامًا
- the cattle
- فَهُمْ لَهَا مَالِكُونَ
- so that they are their owners
وَذَلَّلْنَاهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ ٧٢
And We have subdued them unto them so that some of them they have for riding and some they eat.
- وَذَلَّلْنَاهَا لَهُمْ
- And We have subdued them unto them
- فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ
- so that some of them they have for riding
- وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ
- and some they eat
وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ ٧٣
And they have (other) benefits from them (besides), and they get (milk) to drink, will they not then be grateful?
- وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ

- أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
- will they not then be grateful?
وَاتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ ٧٤
And they have taken besides Allah aliha (gods), hoping that they might be helped (by those so called gods).
- وَاتَّخَذُوا
- And they have taken
- مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ

- لَّعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
- hoping that they might be helped (by those so called gods)
لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُّحْضَرُونَ ٧٥
They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning).
- لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ

فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ ٧٦
So let not their speech, then, grieve you (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, We know what they conceal and what they reveal.
- فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ
- So let not their speech grieve you (O Muhammad SAW)
- إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ
- Verily, We know
- مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
- what they conceal and what they reveal
