اذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَىٰ ٢٤
"Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh)! Verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience, and has behaved as an arrogant, and as a tyrant)."
- اذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ
- Go to Fir'aun (Pharaoh)!
- إِنَّهُ طَغَىٰ
- Verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience, and has behaved as a tyrant).
قَالَ رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي ٢٥
[Musa (Moses)] said: "O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness).
- قَالَ رَبِّ
- O my Lord!
- اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي
- Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness).
وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي ٢٦
"And ease my task for me;
- وَيَسِّرْ لِي
- And ease for me
- أَمْرِي
- my task
وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي ٢٧
"And make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue, (i.e. remove the incorrectness from my speech) [That occurred as a result of a brand of fire which Musa (Moses) put in his mouth when he was an infant]. [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 16, Page 159].
- وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي
- And make loose the knot (the defect) from my tongue,
- (i.e. remove the incorrectness from my speech)
- [That occurred as a result of a brand of fire which Musa (Moses) put in his mouth when he was an infant].
يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي ٢٨
"That they understand my speech,
- يَفْقَهُوا

وَاجْعَل لِّي وَزِيرًا مِّنْ أَهْلِي ٢٩
"And appoint for me a helper from my family,
- وَاجْعَل لِّي
- And appoint for me
- وَزِيرًا
- a helper
- مِّنْ أَهْلِي
- from my family
هَارُونَ أَخِي ٣٠
"Harun (Aaron), my brother;
- هَارُونَ أَخِي
- Harun (Aaron), my brother
اشْدُدْ بِهِ أَزْرِي ٣١
"Increase my strength with him,
- اشْدُدْ بِهِ أَزْرِي
- Increase my strength with him
وَأَشْرِكْهُ فِي أَمْرِي ٣٢
"And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood),
- وَأَشْرِكْهُ
- And let him share
- فِي أَمْرِي
- my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood)
كَيْ نُسَبِّحَكَ كَثِيرًا ٣٣
"That we may glorify You much,
- كَيْ نُسَبِّحَكَ
- That we may glorify You
- كَثِيرًا
- much
وَنَذْكُرَكَ كَثِيرًا ٣٤
"And remember You much,
- وَنَذْكُرَكَ كَثِيرًا
- And remember You much
إِنَّكَ كُنتَ بِنَا بَصِيرًا ٣٥
"Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer."

قَالَ قَدْ أُوتِيتَ سُؤْلَكَ يَا مُوسَىٰ ٣٦
Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)!
- قَالَ
- Allah said:

- You are granted
- سُؤْلَكَ
- your request,
- يَا مُوسَىٰ
- O Musa (Moses)!
