اذْهَبْ أَنتَ وَأَخُوكَ بِآيَاتِي وَلَا تَنِيَا فِي ذِكْرِي ٤٢

"Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance.

اذْهَبْ أَنتَ وَأَخُوكَ
Go you and your brother
بِآيَاتِي
with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)
وَلَا تَنِيَا فِي ذِكْرِي
and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance

اذْهَبَا إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَىٰ ٤٣

"Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant).

اذْهَبَا إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ
Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh),
إِنَّهُ طَغَىٰ
verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant).

فَقُولَا لَهُ قَوْلًا لَّيِّنًا لَّعَلَّهُ يَتَذَكَّرُ أَوْ يَخْشَىٰ ٤٤

"And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear Allah."

فَقُولَا لَهُ
And speak to him
قَوْلًا لَّيِّنًا
mildly
لَّعَلَّهُ
perhaps he may
يَتَذَكَّرُ
accept admonition
أَوْ
or
يَخْشَىٰ
fear Allah

قَالَا رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا نَخَافُ أَن يَفْرُطَ عَلَيْنَا أَوْ أَن يَطْغَىٰ ٤٥

They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)."

قَالَا رَبَّنَا
They said: 'Our Lord!'
إِنَّنَا نَخَافُ
Verily! We fear
أَن يَفْرُطَ عَلَيْنَا
lest he should hasten to punish us
أَوْ أَن يَطْغَىٰ
or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us).

قَالَ لَا تَخَافَا ۖ إِنَّنِي مَعَكُمَا أَسْمَعُ وَأَرَىٰ ٤٦

He (Allah) said: "Fear not, verily! I am with you both, hearing and seeing.

قَالَ لَا تَخَافَا ۖ
He (Allah) said: 'Fear not,'
إِنَّنِي مَعَكُمَا
verily! I am with you both,
أَسْمَعُ وَأَرَىٰ
hearing and seeing.

فَأْتِيَاهُ فَقُولَا إِنَّا رَسُولَا رَبِّكَ فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَلَا تُعَذِّبْهُمْ ۖ قَدْ جِئْنَاكَ بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۖ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَىٰ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الْهُدَىٰ ٤٧

"So go you both to him, and say: 'Verily, we are Messengers of your Lord, so let the Children of Israel go with us, and torment them not; indeed, we have come with a sign from your Lord! And peace will be upon him who follows the guidance!

فَأْتِيَاهُ فَقُولَا
So go you both to him, and say:
إِنَّا رَسُولَا رَبِّكَ
Verily, we are Messengers of your Lord,
فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ
so let the Children of Israel go with us,
وَلَا تُعَذِّبْهُمْ ۖ
and torment them not;
قَدْ جِئْنَاكَ بِآيَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكَ ۖ
indeed, we have come with a sign from your Lord!
وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَىٰ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الْهُدَىٰ
And peace will be upon him who follows the guidance!

إِنَّا قَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْنَا أَنَّ الْعَذَابَ عَلَىٰ مَن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ ٤٨

'Truly, it has been revealed to us that the torment will be for him who denies [believes not in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messengers, etc.], and turns away.'(from the truth and obedience of Allah)"

إِنَّا قَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْنَا
Truly, it has been revealed to us
أَنَّ الْعَذَابَ عَلَىٰ مَن كَذَّبَ
that the torment will be for him who denies
وَتَوَلَّىٰ
and turns away.
