وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ ۚ قَالُوا لَوْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَاكُمْ ۖ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَا أَجَزِعْنَا أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٍ ٢١
And they all shall appear before Allah (on the Day of Resurrection) then the weak will say to those who were arrogant (chiefs): "Verily, we were following you; can you avail us anything from Allah's Torment?" They will say: "Had Allah guided us, we would have guided you. It makes no difference to us (now) whether we rage, or bear (these torments) with patience, there is no place of refuge for us."
- وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا
- And they all shall appear before Allah (on the Day of Resurrection)
- فَقَالَ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا
- then the weak will say to those who were arrogant (chiefs):
- إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا
- "Verily, we were following you;
- فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ ۚ
- can you avail us anything from Allah\'s Torment?"
- قَالُوا
- They will say:
- لَوْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَاكُمْ ۖ
- "Had Allah guided us, we would have guided you.
- سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَا أَجَزِعْنَا أَمْ صَبَرْنَا
- It makes no difference to us (now) whether we rage, or bear (these torments) with patience,
- مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٍ
- there is no place of refuge for us.
