وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِآيَاتِنَا وَسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ ٢٣
And indeed We sent Musa (Moses) with Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and a manifest authority,
- وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا
- And indeed We sent
- مُوسَىٰ
- Musa (Moses)
- بِآيَاتِنَا
- with Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)
- وَسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
- and a manifest authority
إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ وَقَارُونَ فَقَالُوا سَاحِرٌ كَذَّابٌ ٢٤
To Fir'aun (Pharaoh), Haman and Qarun (Korah), but they called (him): "A sorcerer, a liar!"
- إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ
- To Fir'aun (Pharaoh),
- وَهَامَانَ
- Haman,
- وَقَارُونَ
- and Qarun (Korah),
- فَقَالُوا
- but they called (him):
- سَاحِرٌ كَذَّابٌ
- "A sorcerer, a liar!"
فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُم بِالْحَقِّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوا اقْتُلُوا أَبْنَاءَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ وَاسْتَحْيُوا نِسَاءَهُمْ ۚ وَمَا كَيْدُ الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ ٢٥
Then, when he brought them the Truth from Us, they said: "Kill the sons of those who believe with him and let their women live", but the plots of disbelievers are nothing but errors!
- فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُم بِالْحَقِّ مِنْ عِندِنَا
- Then, when he brought them the Truth from Us
- قَالُوا
- they said:
- اقْتُلُوا أَبْنَاءَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ
- "Kill the sons of those who believe with him
- وَاسْتَحْيُوا نِسَاءَهُمْ ۚ
- and let their women live"
- وَمَا كَيْدُ الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ
- but the plots of disbelievers are nothing but errors!
وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذَرُونِي أَقْتُلْ مُوسَىٰ وَلْيَدْعُ رَبَّهُ ۖ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَن يُبَدِّلَ دِينَكُمْ أَوْ أَن يُظْهِرَ فِي الْأَرْضِ الْفَسَادَ ٢٦
Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Leave me to kill Musa (Moses), and let him call his Lord (to stop me from killing him)! I fear that he may change your religion, or that he may cause mischief to appear in the land!"
- وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذَرُونِي
- Leave me to kill Musa (Moses)
- أَقْتُلْ مُوسَىٰ
- and let him call his Lord
- وَلْيَدْعُ رَبَّهُ ۖ
- I fear that
- إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَن
- he may change your religion
- يُبَدِّلَ دِينَكُمْ أَوْ أَن يُظْهِرَ فِي
- or that he may cause mischief to appear in the land
وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ إِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُم مِّن كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِيَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ ٢٧
Musa (Moses) said: "Verily, I seek refuge in my Lord and your Lord from every arrogant who believes not in the Day of Reckoning!"
- وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ
- Musa (Moses) said:
- إِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُم
- Verily, I seek refuge in my Lord and your Lord
- مِّن كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرٍ
- from every arrogant
- لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِيَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ
- who believes not in the Day of Reckoning!
