كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ٢٥

Those before them belied, and so the torment came on them from directions they perceived not.

فَأَذَاقَهُمُ اللَّهُ الْخِزْيَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ ٢٦

So Allah made them to taste the disgrace in the present life, but greater is the torment of the Hereafter if they only knew!

فَأَذَاقَهُمُ اللَّهُ الْخِزْيَ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ

So Allah made them to taste the disgrace in the present life

وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ

but greater is the torment of the Hereafter

لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ

if they only knew!
