۞ احْشُرُوا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا وَأَزْوَاجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ ٢٢

(It will be said to the angels): "Assemble those who did wrong, together with their companions (from the devils) and what they used to worship.

۞ احْشُرُوا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا

Assemble those who did wrong

وَأَزْوَاجَهُمْ

together with their companions

وَمَا كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَ

and what they used to worship

مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ فَاهْدُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْجَحِيمِ ٢٣

"Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell);

مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ

Instead of Allah,

فَاهْدُوهُمْ

and lead them

إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْجَحِيمِ

on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell);

وَقِفُوهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسْئُولُونَ ٢٤

"But stop them, verily they are to be questioned.

وَقِفُوهُمْ ۖ

But stop them

إِنَّهُم

verily they

مَّسْئُولُونَ

are to be questioned

مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ ٢٥

"What is the matter with you? Why do you not help one another (as you used to do in the world)?"

مَا لَكُمْ

What is the matter with you?

لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ

Why do you not help one another (as you used to do in the world)?

بَلْ هُمُ الْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ ٢٦

Nay, but that Day they shall surrender,

بَلْ

Nay,

هُمُ الْيَوْمَ

but that Day they

مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ

shall surrender,
