وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ ١١٤

And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron).

وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا

And, indeed We gave Our Grace

عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ

to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)

وَنَجَّيْنَاهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ ١١٥

And We saved them and their people from the great distress;

وَنَجَّيْنَاهُمَا

And We saved them

وَقَوْمَهُمَا

and their people

مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ

from the great distress

وَنَصَرْنَاهُمْ فَكَانُوا هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ ١١٦

And helped them, so that they became the victors;

وَنَصَرْنَاهُمْ

And helped them

فَكَانُوا

so that they became

هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ

the victors

وَآتَيْنَاهُمَا الْكِتَابَ الْمُسْتَبِينَ ١١٧

And We gave them the clear Scripture;

وَآتَيْنَاهُمَا

And We gave them

الْكِتَابَ الْمُسْتَبِينَ

the clear Scripture

وَهَدَيْنَاهُمَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ ١١٨

And guided them to the Right Path;

وَهَدَيْنَاهُمَا

And guided them

الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ

to the Right Path

وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِي الْآخِرِينَ ١١٩

And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times;

وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا

And We left for them

فِي الْآخِرِينَ

among generations (to come) in later times

سَلَامٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ ١٢٠

Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!"

سَلَامٌ

Salamun (peace)

عَلَىٰ

be upon

مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ

Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِنِينَ ١٢١

Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112).

إِنَّا

Verily,

كَذَٰلِكَ

thus do We

نَجْزِي

reward

الْمُحْسِنِينَ

the Muhsinun (good-doers)

إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ١٢٢

Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves.

إِنَّهُمَا

Verily! They were

مِنْ عِبَادِنَا

two of Our slaves

الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

believing
