وَالَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَأْتُوا بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَاءَ فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثَمَانِينَ جَلْدَةً وَلَا تَقْبَلُوا لَهُمْ شَهَادَةً أَبَدًا ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ ٤

And those who accuse chaste women, and produce not four witnesses, flog them with eighty stripes, and reject their testimony forever, they indeed are the Fasiqun (liars, rebellious, disobedient to Allah).

And those who accuse chaste women,
ثُمَّ لَمْ يَأْتُوا بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَاءَ
and produce not four witnesses,
فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثَمَانِينَ جَلْدَةً
flog them with eighty stripes,
وَلَا تَقْبَلُوا لَهُمْ شَهَادَةً أَبَدًا ۚ
and reject their testimony forever,
وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
they indeed are the Fasiqun (liars, rebellious, disobedient to Allah).

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا مِن بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ٥

Except those who repent thereafter and do righteous deeds, (for such) verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا مِن بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ
Except those who repent thereafter
وَأَصْلَحُوا
and do righteous deeds,
فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
(for such) verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
