إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ لِتَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِمَا أَرَاكَ اللَّهُ ۚ وَلَا تَكُن لِّلْخَائِنِينَ خَصِيمًا ١٠٥

Surely, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Quran) in truth that you might judge between men by that which Allah has shown you (i.e. has taught you through Divine Inspiration), so be not a pleader for the treacherous.

إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ

Surely, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Quran) in truth

لِتَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِمَا أَرَاكَ اللَّهُ ۚ

that you might judge between men by that which Allah has shown you (i.e. has taught you through Divine Inspiration)

وَلَا تَكُن لِّلْخَائِنِينَ خَصِيمًا

so be not a pleader for the treacherous.

وَاسْتَغْفِرِ اللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا ١٠٦

And seek the Forgiveness of Allah, certainly, Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

وَاسْتَغْفِرِ اللَّهَ ۖ

And seek the Forgiveness of Allah

إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا

certainly, Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

وَلَا تُجَادِلْ عَنِ الَّذِينَ يَخْتَانُونَ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِيمًا ١٠٧

And argue not on behalf of those who deceive themselves. Verily, Allah does not like anyone who is a betrayer of his trust, and indulges in crime.

وَلَا تُجَادِلْ عَنِ الَّذِينَ

And argue not on behalf of those who

يَخْتَانُونَ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ

deceive themselves.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ

Verily, Allah does not like

مَن كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِيمًا

anyone who is a betrayer of his trust, and indulges in crime.

يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَلَا يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ مَعَهُمْ إِذْ يُبَيِّتُونَ مَا لَا يَرْضَىٰ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطًا ١٠٨

They may hide (their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (them) from Allah, for He is with them (by His Knowledge), when they plot by night in words that He does not approve, And Allah ever encompasses what they do.

يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ النَّاسِ

They may hide (their crimes) from men,

وَلَا يَسْتَخْفُونَ مِنَ اللَّهِ

but they cannot hide (them) from Allah,

وَهُوَ مَعَهُمْ إِذْ يُبَيِّتُونَ

for He is with them (by His Knowledge), when they plot

مَا لَا يَرْضَىٰ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ ۚ

in words that He does not approve,

وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطًا

And Allah ever encompasses what they do.

هَا أَنتُمْ هَٰؤُلَاءِ جَادَلْتُمْ عَنْهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا فَمَن يُجَادِلُ اللَّهَ عَنْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَم مَّن يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكِيلًا ١٠٩

Lo! You are those who have argued for them in the life of this world, but who will argue for them on the Day of Resurrection against Allah, or who will then be their defender?

هَا أَنتُمْ هَٰؤُلَاءِ جَادَلْتُمْ

Lo! You are those who

عَنْهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا فَمَن

have argued for them in the life of this world,

يُجَادِلُ اللَّهَ عَنْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَم

but who will argue for them on the Day of Resurrection against Allah,

مَّن يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكِيلًا

or who will then be their defender?
