وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَلَقَدْ وَصَّيْنَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَإِيَّاكُمْ أَنِ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ وَإِن تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَنِيًّا حَمِيدًا ١٣١

And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And verily, We have recommended to the people of the Scripture before you, and to you (O Muslims) that you (all) fear Allah, and keep your duty to Him, But if you disbelieve, then unto Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and Allah is Ever Rich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise.

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ

And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth.

وَلَقَدْ وَصَّيْنَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَإِيَّاكُمْ

And verily, We have recommended to the people of the Scripture before you, and to you (O Muslims)

أَنِ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ

that you (all) fear Allah, and keep your duty to Him.

وَإِن تَكْفُرُوا

But if you disbelieve,

فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ

then unto Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth.

وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَنِيًّا حَمِيدًا

and Allah is Ever Rich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise.

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا ١٣٢

And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is Ever All-Sufficient as a Disposer of affairs.

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ

And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens

وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ

and all that is in the earth.

وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلًا

And Allah is Ever All-Sufficient as a Disposer of affairs.

إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ وَيَأْتِ بِآخَرِينَ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ قَدِيرًا ١٣٣

If He wills, He can take you away, O people, and bring others. And Allah is Ever All-Potent over that.

إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ

If He wills, He can take you away,

أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ

O people,

وَيَأْتِ بِآخَرِينَ ۚ

and bring others.

وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ قَدِيرًا

And Allah is Ever All-Potent over that.

مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا فَعِندَ اللَّهِ ثَوَابُ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا ١٣٤

Whoever desires a reward in this life of the world, then with Allah (Alone and none else) is the reward of this worldly life and of the Hereafter. And Allah is Ever All-Hearer, All-Seer.

مَّن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا

Whoever desires a reward in this life of the world,

فَعِندَ اللَّهِ

then with Allah (Alone and none else)

ثَوَابُ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۚ

is the reward of this worldly life and of the Hereafter.

وَكَانَ اللَّهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا

And Allah is Ever All-Hearer, All-Seer.

۞ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاءَ لِلَّهِ وَلَوْ عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوِ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأَقْرَبِينَ ۚ إِن يَكُنْ غَنِيًّا أَوْ فَقِيرًا فَاللَّهُ أَوْلَىٰ بِهِمَا ۖ فَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا الْهَوَىٰ أَن تَعْدِلُوا ۚ وَإِن تَلْوُوا أَوْ تُعْرِضُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا ١٣٥

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you). So follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice, and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do.

۞ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا

O you who believe!

قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاءَ

Stand out firmly for justice,

لِلَّهِ وَلَوْ

as witnesses to Allah,

عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوِ

even though it be against yourselves,

الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأَقْرَبِينَ ۚ

or your parents,

إِن

or your kin,

يَكُنْ غَنِيًّا أَوْ فَقِيرًا فَاللَّهُ

be he rich or poor,

أَوْلَىٰ بِهِمَا ۖ فَلَا

Allah is a Better Protector to both (than you).

تَتَّبِعُوا الْهَوَىٰ أَن

So follow not the lusts (of your hearts),

تَعْدِلُوا ۚ وَإِن

lest you may avoid justice,

تَلْوُوا أَوْ تُعْرِضُوا فَإِنَّ

and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it,

اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا

verily, Allah is Ever Well-Acquainted with what you do.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا آمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًا ١٣٦

O you who believe! Believe in Allah, and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and the Book (the Quran) which He has sent down to His Messenger, and the Scripture which He sent down to those before (him), and whosoever disbelieves in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Last Day, then indeed he has strayed far away.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا آمِنُوا

O you who believe!

بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ

Believe in Allah, and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW),

الَّذِي نَزَّلَ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ وَالْكِتَابِ

and the Book (the Quran) which He has sent down to His Messenger,

الَّذِي أَنزَلَ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَمَن

and the Scripture which He sent down to those before (him),

يَكْفُرْ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَقَدْ

and whosoever disbelieves in Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Last Day,

ضَلَّ ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًا

then indeed he has strayed far away.
