The Promise of Paradise for True Believers and Righteous Deeds

وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۖ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقًّا ۚ وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ اللَّهِ قِيلًا ١٢٢

But those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do deeds of righteousness, We shall admit them to the Gardens under which rivers flow (i.e. in Paradise) to dwell therein forever. Allah's Promise is the Truth, and whose words can be truer than those of Allah? (Of course, none).

وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ
But those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do deeds of righteousness,
سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ
We shall admit them to the Gardens under which rivers flow (i.e. in Paradise)
خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۖ
to dwell therein forever.
وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقًّا ۚ
Allah's Promise is the Truth,
وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ اللَّهِ قِيلًا
and whose words can be truer than those of Allah? (Of course, none)

لَّيْسَ بِأَمَانِيِّكُمْ وَلَا أَمَانِيِّ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ ۗ مَن يَعْمَلْ سُوءًا يُجْزَ بِهِ وَلَا يَجِدْ لَهُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا ١٢٣

It will not be in accordance with your desires (Muslims), nor those of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), whosoever works evil, will have the recompense thereof, and he will not find any protector or helper besides Allah.

لَّيْسَ بِأَمَانِيِّكُمْ
It will not be in accordance with your desires (Muslims)
وَلَا أَمَانِيِّ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ ۗ
nor those of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)
مَن يَعْمَلْ سُوءًا يُجْزَ بِهِ
whosoever works evil, will have the recompense thereof
وَلَا يَجِدْ لَهُ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا
and he will not find any protector or helper besides Allah

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ مِن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُولَٰئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ نَقِيرًا ١٢٤

And whoever does righteous good deeds, male or female, and is a true believer in the Oneness of Allah (Muslim), such will enter Paradise and not the least injustice, even to the size of a Naqira (speck on the back of a date-stone), will be done to them.

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ
And whoever does righteous good deeds,
مِن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ
male or female,
وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ
and is a true believer in the Oneness of Allah (Muslim),
فَأُولَٰئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ
such will enter Paradise
وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ نَقِيرًا
and not the least injustice, even to the size of a Naqira (speck on the back of a date-stone), will be done to them.

وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ دِينًا مِّمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ وَاتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۗ وَاتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلًا ١٢٥

And who can be better in religion than one who submits his face (himself) to Allah (i.e. follows Allah's Religion of Islamic Monotheism); and he is a Muhsin (a good-doer - see V. 2:112). And follows the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism - to worship none but Allah Alone). And Allah did take Ibrahim (Abraham) as a Khalil (an intimate friend).

وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ دِينًا
And who can be better in religion
مِّمَّنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُ لِلَّهِ
than one who submits his face (himself) to Allah
وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ
and he is a Muhsin (a good-doer)
وَاتَّبَعَ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۗ
And follows the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism)
وَاتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلًا
And Allah did take Ibrahim (Abraham) as a Khalil (an intimate friend)

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّحِيطًا ١٢٦

And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is Ever Encompassing all things.

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ
And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens
وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ
and all that is in the earth.
وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّحِيطًا
And Allah is Ever Encompassing all things.
