يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُم بَيْنَكُم بِالْبَاطِلِ إِلَّا أَن تَكُونَ تِجَارَةً عَن تَرَاضٍ مِّنكُمْ ۚ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا ٢٩

O you who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves unjustly except it be a trade amongst you, by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا

O you who believe!

تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُم بَيْنَكُم بِالْبَاطِلِ إِلَّا

Eat not up your property among yourselves unjustly

أَن تَكُونَ تِجَارَةً عَن تَرَاضٍ مِّنكُمْ ۚ وَلَا

except it be a trade amongst you, by mutual consent.

تَقْتُلُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ

And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another).

اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا

Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you.

وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ عُدْوَانًا وَظُلْمًا فَسَوْفَ نُصْلِيهِ نَارًا ۚ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا ٣٠

And whoever commits that through aggression and injustice, We shall cast him into the Fire, and that is easy for Allah.

وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ

And whoever commits that

عُدْوَانًا وَظُلْمًا

through aggression and injustice

فَسَوْفَ نُصْلِيهِ نَارًا ۚ

We shall cast him into the Fire

وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا

and that is easy for Allah

إِن تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَائِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ نُكَفِّرْ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَنُدْخِلْكُم مُّدْخَلًا كَرِيمًا ٣١

If you avoid the great sins which you are forbidden to do, We shall remit from you your (small) sins, and admit you to a Noble Entrance (i.e. Paradise).

إِن تَجْتَنِبُوا كَبَائِرَ مَا تُنْهَوْنَ عَنْهُ

If you avoid the great sins which you are forbidden to do

نُكَفِّرْ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ

We shall remit from you your (small) sins

وَنُدْخِلْكُم مُّدْخَلًا كَرِيمًا

and admit you to a Noble Entrance (i.e. Paradise)

وَلَا تَتَمَنَّوْا مَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهِ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ ۚ لِّلرِّجَالِ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا اكْتَسَبُوا ۖ وَلِلنِّسَاءِ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا اكْتَسَبْنَ ۚ وَاسْأَلُوا اللَّهَ مِن فَضْلِهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا ٣٢

And wish not for the things in which Allah has made some of you to excel others. For men there is reward for what they have earned, (and likewise) for women there is reward for what they have earned, and ask Allah of His Bounty. Surely, Allah is Ever All-Knower of everything.

وَلَا تَتَمَنَّوْا

And wish not

مَا فَضَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهِ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ ۚ

for the things in which Allah has made some of you to excel others.

لِّلرِّجَالِ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا اكْتَسَبُوا ۖ

For men there is reward for what they have earned,

وَلِلنِّسَاءِ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا اكْتَسَبْنَ ۚ

(and likewise) for women there is reward for what they have earned,

وَاسْأَلُوا اللَّهَ مِن فَضْلِهِ ۗ

and ask Allah of His Bounty.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمًا

Surely, Allah is Ever All-Knower of everything.

وَلِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مَوَالِيَ مِمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدَانِ وَالْأَقْرَبُونَ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ عَقَدَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَآتُوهُمْ نَصِيبَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدًا ٣٣

And to everyone, We have appointed heirs of that (property) left by parents and relatives. To those also with whom you have made a pledge (brotherhood), give them their due portion (by Wasiya - wills, etc.). Truly, Allah is Ever a Witness over all things.

وَلِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مَوَالِيَ

And to everyone, We have appointed heirs

مِمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدَانِ وَالْأَقْرَبُونَ ۚ

of that (property) left by parents and relatives.

وَالَّذِينَ عَقَدَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ

To those also with whom you have made a pledge (brotherhood),

فَآتُوهُمْ نَصِيبَهُمْ ۚ

give them their due portion (by Wasiya - wills, etc.).

إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدًا

Truly, Allah is Ever a Witness over all things.
