يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا ٤٢
They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time?
- يَسْأَلُونَكَ
- They ask you
- عَنِ السَّاعَةِ
- about the Hour,
- أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا
- when will be its appointed time?
فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكْرَاهَا ٤٣
You have no knowledge to say anything about it,
- فِيمَ أَنتَ
- You have no knowledge
- مِن ذِكْرَاهَا
- to say anything about it
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَاهَا ٤٤
To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof?
- إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ

- مُنتَهَاهَا
- belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof
إِنَّمَا أَنتَ مُنذِرُ مَن يَخْشَاهَا ٤٥
You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it,
- إِنَّمَا أَنتَ
- You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only
- مُنذِرُ
- a warner
- مَن يَخْشَاهَا
- for those who fear it
كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَاهَا ٤٦
The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning.
- كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا
- The Day they see it,
- لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا
- (it will be) as if they had not tarried except
- عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَاهَا
- an afternoon or a morning.
