أَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ السَّمَاءُ ۚ بَنَاهَا ٢٧

Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed?

أَأَنتُمْ

Are you

أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا

more difficult to create

أَمِ السَّمَاءُ ۚ

or is the heaven

بَنَاهَا

that He constructed?

رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّاهَا ٢٨

He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it,

رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا

He raised its height

فَسَوَّاهَا

and He has equally ordered it

وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَاهَا ٢٩

Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light).

وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا

Its night He covers with darkness

وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَاهَا

and its forenoon He brings out (with light)

وَالْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَاهَا ٣٠

And after that He spread the earth;

وَالْأَرْضَ

And the earth

بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ

after that

دَحَاهَا

He spread it

أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَاءَهَا وَمَرْعَاهَا ٣١

And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture;

أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا

And brought forth therefrom

مَاءَهَا

its water

وَمَرْعَاهَا

and its pasture

وَالْجِبَالَ أَرْسَاهَا ٣٢

And the mountains He has fixed firmly;

وَالْجِبَالَ

And the mountains

أَرْسَاهَا

He has fixed firmly

مَتَاعًا لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَامِكُمْ ٣٣

(To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle.

مَتَاعًا

(To be) a provision

لَّكُمْ

for you

وَلِأَنْعَامِكُمْ

and your cattle
