وَأَنَّهُ أَهْلَكَ عَادًا الْأُولَىٰ ٥٠

And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people),

وَأَنَّهُ

And that it is He (Allah)

أَهْلَكَ

Who destroyed

عَادًا الْأُولَىٰ

the former 'Ad (people)

وَثَمُودَ فَمَا أَبْقَىٰ ٥١

And Thamud (people). He spared none of them.

وَثَمُودَ

And Thamud (people)

فَمَا أَبْقَىٰ

He spared none of them

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا هُمْ أَظْلَمَ وَأَطْغَىٰ ٥٢

And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)].

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ ۖ

And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime,

إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا

verily, they were

هُمْ أَظْلَمَ وَأَطْغَىٰ

more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)].

وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ أَهْوَىٰ ٥٣

And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent].

وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ

the overthrown cities

أَهْوَىٰ

He destroyed

He destroyed the overthrown cities

of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent

فَغَشَّاهَا مَا غَشَّىٰ ٥٤

So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones).

فَغَشَّاهَا

So there covered them

مَا غَشَّىٰ

that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones)

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَىٰ ٥٥

Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ

Then which of the Graces

رَبِّكَ

of your Lord

تَتَمَارَىٰ

(O man!) will you doubt

هَٰذَا نَذِيرٌ مِّنَ النُّذُرِ الْأُولَىٰ ٥٦

This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old.

هَٰذَا نَذِيرٌ

This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger)

مِّنَ النُّذُرِ الْأُولَىٰ

of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old
