وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ الْمُنتَهَىٰ ٤٢

And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything).

وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ

And that to your Lord (Allah)

الْمُنتَهَىٰ

is the End (Return of everything)

وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ أَضْحَكَ وَأَبْكَىٰ ٤٣

And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep;

وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ

And that it is He (Allah)

أَضْحَكَ

Who makes (whom He wills) laugh,

وَأَبْكَىٰ

and makes (whom He wills) weep;

وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحْيَا ٤٤

And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life;

وَأَنَّهُ

And that it is He

هُوَ أَمَاتَ

Who causes death

وَأَحْيَا

and gives life

وَأَنَّهُ خَلَقَ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنثَىٰ ٤٥

And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female,

وَأَنَّهُ

And that He (Allah)

خَلَقَ الزَّوْجَيْنِ

creates the pairs,

الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنثَىٰ

male and female,

مِن نُّطْفَةٍ إِذَا تُمْنَىٰ ٤٦

From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted;

مِن نُّطْفَةٍ

From Nutfah (drops of semen)

إِذَا تُمْنَىٰ

when it is emitted

وَأَنَّ عَلَيْهِ النَّشْأَةَ الْأُخْرَىٰ ٤٧

And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection);

وَأَنَّ عَلَيْهِ

And that upon Him (Allah)

النَّشْأَةَ الْأُخْرَىٰ

is another bringing forth (Resurrection)

وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ أَغْنَىٰ وَأَقْنَىٰ ٤٨

And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment),

وَأَنَّهُ

And that it is He (Allah)

هُوَ أَغْنَىٰ

Who gives much

وَأَقْنَىٰ

or a little (or gives wealth and contentment)

وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ رَبُّ الشِّعْرَىٰ ٤٩

And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship);

وَأَنَّهُ

And that He

هُوَ رَبُّ الشِّعْرَىٰ

is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship)
