فَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ ٩٨
So when you want to recite the Quran, seek refuge with Allah from Shaitan (Satan), the outcast (the cursed one).
- فَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ
- So when you want to recite the Quran
- فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ
- seek refuge with Allah
- مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
- from Shaitan (Satan), the outcast (the cursed one)
إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ سُلْطَانٌ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ ٩٩
Verily! He has no power over those who believe and put their trust only in their Lord (Allah).
- إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ سُلْطَانٌ
- Verily! He has no power
- عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا
- over those who believe
- وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
- and put their trust only in their Lord (Allah)
إِنَّمَا سُلْطَانُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُ وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِهِ مُشْرِكُونَ ١٠٠
His power is only over those who obey and follow him (Satan), and those who join partners with Him (Allah) [i.e. those who are Mushrikun - polytheists - see Verse 6:121].
- إِنَّمَا سُلْطَانُهُ
- His power is only
- عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُ
- over those who obey and follow him (Satan)
- وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِهِ مُشْرِكُونَ
- and those who join partners with Him (Allah) [i.e. those who are Mushrikun - polytheists - see Verse 6:121]
