لَٰكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا نُزُلًا مِّنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَمَا عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِّلْأَبْرَارِ ١٩٨

But, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise); therein are they to dwell (for ever), an entertainment from Allah; and that which is with Allah is the Best for Al-Abrar (those who are obedient to Allah and follow strictly His Orders).

لَٰكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ

But, for those who fear their Lord,

لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ

are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise);

خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا

therein are they to dwell (for ever),

نُزُلًا مِّنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ ۗ

an entertainment from Allah;

وَمَا عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِّلْأَبْرَارِ

and that which is with Allah is the Best for Al-Abrar (those who are obedient to Allah and follow strictly His Orders).

وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَمَن يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ خَاشِعِينَ لِلَّهِ لَا يَشْتَرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۗ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ ١٩٩

And there are, certainly, among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), those who believe in Allah and in that which has been revealed to you, and in that which has been revealed to them, humbling themselves before Allah. They do not sell the Verses of Allah for a little price, for them is a reward with their Lord. Surely, Allah is Swift in account.

وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ

And there are, certainly, among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians),

لَمَن يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ

those who believe in Allah and in that which has been revealed to you, and in that which has been revealed to them,

خَاشِعِينَ لِلَّهِ

humbling themselves before Allah.

لَا يَشْتَرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا ۗ

They do not sell the Verses of Allah for a little price,

أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ

for them is a reward with their Lord.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ

Surely, Allah is Swift in account.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اصْبِرُوا وَصَابِرُوا وَرَابِطُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ٢٠٠

O you who believe! Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), and guard your territory by stationing army units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, and fear Allah, so that you may be successful.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اصْبِرُوا

O you who believe!

وَصَابِرُوا وَرَابِطُوا

Endure and be more patient (than your enemy),

وَاتَّقُوا

and guard your territory by stationing army units permanently

اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

at the places from where the enemy can attack you,

and fear Allah,

so that you may be successful.
