وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ ٦٢
And (remember) the Day when He will call to them, and say: "Where are My (so-called) partners whom you used to assert?"
- وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ
- And (remember) the Day when He will call to them,
- فَيَقُولُ
- and say:
- أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ
- "Where are My (so-called) partners
- الَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ
- whom you used to assert?"
قَالَ الَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ رَبَّنَا هَٰؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ أَغْوَيْنَا أَغْوَيْنَاهُمْ كَمَا غَوَيْنَا ۖ تَبَرَّأْنَا إِلَيْكَ ۖ مَا كَانُوا إِيَّانَا يَعْبُدُونَ ٦٣
Those about whom the Word will have come true (to be punished) will say: "Our Lord! These are they whom we led astray. We led them astray, as we were astray ourselves. We declare our innocence (from them) before You. It was not us they worshipped."
- قَالَ الَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ
- Those about whom the Word will have come true (to be punished) will say:
- رَبَّنَا
- Our Lord!
- هَٰؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ أَغْوَيْنَا
- These are they whom we led astray.
- أَغْوَيْنَاهُمْ كَمَا غَوَيْنَا ۖ
- We led them astray, as we were astray ourselves.
- تَبَرَّأْنَا إِلَيْكَ ۖ
- We declare our innocence (from them) before You.
- مَا كَانُوا إِيَّانَا يَعْبُدُونَ
- It was not us they worshipped.
وَقِيلَ ادْعُوا شُرَكَاءَكُمْ فَدَعَوْهُمْ فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا لَهُمْ وَرَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ ۚ لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَهْتَدُونَ ٦٤
And it will be said (to them): "Call upon your (so-called) partners (of Allah), and they will call upon them, but they will give no answer to them, and they will see the torment. (They will then wish) if only they had been guided!
- وَقِيلَ
- And it will be said
- ادْعُوا شُرَكَاءَكُمْ
- Call upon your (so-called) partners (of Allah)
- فَدَعَوْهُمْ
- and they will call upon them
- فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا لَهُمْ
- but they will give no answer to them
- وَرَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ ۚ
- and they will see the torment
- لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَهْتَدُونَ
- (They will then wish) if only they had been guided
وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَا أَجَبْتُمُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ ٦٥
And (remember) the Day (Allah) will call to them, and say: "What answer gave you to the Messengers?"
- وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ
- And (remember) the Day (Allah) will call to them,
- فَيَقُولُ
- and say:
- مَاذَا أَجَبْتُمُ
- What answer gave you
- الْمُرْسَلِينَ
- to the Messengers?
فَعَمِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَنبَاءُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَهُمْ لَا يَتَسَاءَلُونَ ٦٦
Then the news of a good answer will be obscured to them on that day, and they will not be able to ask one another.
- فَعَمِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَنبَاءُ
- Then the news will be obscured to them
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- on that day
- فَهُمْ لَا يَتَسَاءَلُونَ
- and they will not be able to ask one another
فَأَمَّا مَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَعَسَىٰ أَن يَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُفْلِحِينَ ٦٧
But as for him who repented (from polytheism and sins, etc.), believed (in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messenger Muhammad SAW), and did righteous deeds (in the life of this world), then he will be among those who are successful.
- فَأَمَّا مَن تَابَ
- But as for him who repented
- وَآمَنَ
- and believed
- وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا
- and did righteous deeds
- فَعَسَىٰ أَن يَكُونَ
- then he will be
- مِنَ الْمُفْلِحِينَ
- among those who are successful
