إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ ٣٤

Verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) are Gardens of delight (Paradise) with their Lord.

إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
Verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons)
عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ
with their Lord
جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
are Gardens of delight (Paradise)

أَفَنَجْعَلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ كَالْمُجْرِمِينَ ٣٥

Shall We then treat the (submitting) Muslims like the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists and disbelievers, etc.)?

أَفَنَجْعَلُ
Shall We then treat

كَالْمُجْرِمِينَ
like the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists and disbelievers, etc.)

مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ ٣٦

What is the matter with you? How judge you?

مَا لَكُمْ
What is the matter with you?
كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ
How do you judge?

أَمْ لَكُمْ كِتَابٌ فِيهِ تَدْرُسُونَ ٣٧

Or have you a Book through which you learn.

أَمْ لَكُمْ
Or have you
كِتَابٌ فِيهِ
a Book through which
تَدْرُسُونَ
you learn

إِنَّ لَكُمْ فِيهِ لَمَا تَخَيَّرُونَ ٣٨

That you shall have all that you choose?

إِنَّ لَكُمْ
That you shall have
فِيهِ
in it
لَمَا تَخَيَّرُونَ
all that you choose

أَمْ لَكُمْ أَيْمَانٌ عَلَيْنَا بَالِغَةٌ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ۙ إِنَّ لَكُمْ لَمَا تَحْكُمُونَ ٣٩

Or you have oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection that yours will be what you judge.

أَمْ لَكُمْ
Or you have
أَيْمَانٌ عَلَيْنَا
oaths from Us
بَالِغَةٌ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ۙ
reaching to the Day of Resurrection
إِنَّ لَكُمْ
that yours will be
لَمَا تَحْكُمُونَ
what you judge

سَلْهُمْ أَيُّهُم بِذَٰلِكَ زَعِيمٌ ٤٠

Ask them, which of them will stand surety for that!

سَلْهُمْ
Ask them,
أَيُّهُم
which of them
بِذَٰلِكَ
will stand surety for that!

أَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ فَلْيَأْتُوا بِشُرَكَائِهِمْ إِن كَانُوا صَادِقِينَ ٤١

Or have they "partners"? Then let them bring their "partners" if they are truthful!

أَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكَاءُ
Or have they 'partners'?
فَلْيَأْتُوا بِشُرَكَائِهِمْ
Then let them bring their 'partners'
إِن كَانُوا صَادِقِينَ
if they are truthful!
