ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ قُرُونًا آخَرِينَ ٤٢

Then, after them, We created other generations.

ثُمَّ

Then,

أَنشَأْنَا

We created

مِن بَعْدِهِمْ

after them,

قُرُونًا آخَرِينَ

other generations.

مَا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ ٤٣

No nation can anticipate their term, nor can they delay it.

مَا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ

No nation can anticipate

أَجَلَهَا

their term

وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ

nor can they delay it

ثُمَّ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتْرَىٰ ۖ كُلَّ مَا جَاءَ أُمَّةً رَّسُولُهَا كَذَّبُوهُ ۚ فَأَتْبَعْنَا بَعْضَهُم بَعْضًا وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ ۚ فَبُعْدًا لِّقَوْمٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ ٤٤

Then We sent Our Messengers in succession, every time there came to a nation their Messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another (to destruction), and We made them as Ahadith (the true stories for mankind to learn a lesson from them). So away with a people who believe not.

ثُمَّ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتْرَىٰ ۖ

Then We sent Our Messengers in succession

كُلَّ مَا جَاءَ أُمَّةً رَّسُولُهَا كَذَّبُوهُ ۚ

every time there came to a nation their Messenger, they denied him

فَأَتْبَعْنَا بَعْضَهُم بَعْضًا

so We made them follow one another (to destruction)

وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ ۚ

and We made them as Ahadith

فَبُعْدًا لِّقَوْمٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ

So away with a people who believe not
