يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَابْتَغُوا إِلَيْهِ الْوَسِيلَةَ وَجَاهِدُوا فِي سَبِيلِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ٣٥
O you who believe! Do your duty to Allah and fear Him. Seek the means of approach to Him, and strive hard in His Cause as much as you can. So that you may be successful.
- يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا
- O you who believe!
- اللَّهَ وَابْتَغُوا
- Do your duty to Allah and fear Him.
- إِلَيْهِ الْوَسِيلَةَ وَجَاهِدُوا
- Seek the means of approach to Him,
- فِي سَبِيلِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ
- and strive hard in His Cause
- تُفْلِحُونَ
- as much as you can. So that you may be successful.
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لِيَفْتَدُوا بِهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ مَا تُقُبِّلَ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ٣٦
Verily, those who disbelieve, if they had all that is in the earth, and as much again therewith to ransom themselves thereby from the torment on the Day of Resurrection, it would never be accepted of them, and theirs would be a painful torment.
- إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا
- Verily, those who disbelieve,
- لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا
- if they had all that is in the earth,
- وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ
- and as much again therewith
- لِيَفْتَدُوا بِهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
- to ransom themselves thereby from the torment on the Day of Resurrection,
- مَا تُقُبِّلَ مِنْهُمْ ۖ
- it would never be accepted of them,
- وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
- and theirs would be a painful torment.
يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَخْرُجُوا مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا هُم بِخَارِجِينَ مِنْهَا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ ٣٧
They will long to get out of the Fire, but never will they get out therefrom, and theirs will be a lasting torment.
- يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَخْرُجُوا مِنَ النَّارِ
- They will long to get out of the Fire,
- وَمَا هُم بِخَارِجِينَ مِنْهَا ۖ
- but never will they get out therefrom,
- وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ
- and theirs will be a lasting torment.
