إِلَّا الْمُصَلِّينَ ٢٢
Except those devoted to Salat (prayers)
- إِلَّا
- Except
- الْمُصَلِّينَ
- those devoted to Salat (prayers)
الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَائِمُونَ ٢٣
Those who remain constant in their Salat (prayers);
- الَّذِينَ
- Those who
- هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ
- remain constant in their Salat (prayers)
- دَائِمُونَ
- constant
وَالَّذِينَ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَّعْلُومٌ ٢٤
And those in whose wealth there is a known right,
- وَالَّذِينَ
- And those
- فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ
- in whose wealth
- حَقٌّ مَّعْلُومٌ
- there is a known right
لِّلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ ٢٥
For the beggar who asks, and for the unlucky who has lost his property and wealth, (and his means of living has been straitened);
- لِّلسَّائِلِ
- For the beggar who asks
- وَالْمَحْرُومِ
- and for the unlucky who has lost his property and wealth
- and
- his means of living has been straitened
وَالَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ ٢٦
And those who believe in the Day of Recompense,
- وَالَّذِينَ
- And those who
- يُصَدِّقُونَ
- believe
- بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ
- in the Day of Recompense
وَالَّذِينَ هُم مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم مُّشْفِقُونَ ٢٧
And those who fear the torment of their Lord,
- وَالَّذِينَ
- And those who
- هُم مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِم
- fear the torment of their Lord,
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمْ غَيْرُ مَأْمُونٍ ٢٨
Verily! The torment of their Lord is that before which none can feel secure,
- إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمْ
- Verily! The torment of their Lord
- غَيْرُ مَأْمُونٍ
- is that before which none can feel secure
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَ ٢٩
And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts from illegal sexual acts).
- وَالَّذِينَ
- And those who
- هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَ
- guard their chastity (i.e. private parts from illegal sexual acts)
إِلَّا عَلَىٰ أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ ٣٠
Except with their wives and the (women slaves and captives) whom their right hands possess, for (then) they are not to be blamed,
- إِلَّا عَلَىٰ أَزْوَاجِهِمْ
- Except with their wives
- أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ
- and the (women slaves and captives) whom their right hands possess
- فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ
- for (then) they are not to be blamed
فَمَنِ ابْتَغَىٰ وَرَاءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَ ٣١
But whosoever seeks beyond that, then it is those who are trespassers.
- فَمَنِ ابْتَغَىٰ
- But whosoever seeks
- وَرَاءَ ذَٰلِكَ
- beyond that
- فَأُولَٰئِكَ
- then it is those
- هُمُ الْعَادُونَ
- who are trespassers
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ ٣٢
And those who keep their trusts and covenants;
- وَالَّذِينَ
- And those who
- هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ
- keep their trusts
- وَعَهْدِهِمْ
- and covenants;
- رَاعُونَ
وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِشَهَادَاتِهِمْ قَائِمُونَ ٣٣
And those who stand firm in their testimonies;
- وَالَّذِينَ
- And those who
- هُم بِشَهَادَاتِهِمْ
- stand firm in their testimonies
- قَائِمُونَ
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ ٣٤
And those who guard their Salat (prayers) well.
- وَالَّذِينَ
- And those who
- هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ
- are upon their Salat (prayers)
- يُحَافِظُونَ
- guard well.
أُولَٰئِكَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ مُّكْرَمُونَ ٣٥
Such shall dwell in the Gardens (i.e. Paradise) honoured.
- أُولَٰئِكَ
- Such shall
- فِي جَنَّاتٍ
- dwell in the Gardens (i.e. Paradise)
- مُّكْرَمُونَ
- honoured
