فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ نَفْخَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ ١٣

Then when the Trumpet will be blown with one blowing (the first one),

فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ

Then when the Trumpet will be blown

نَفْخَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ

with one blowing (the first one)

وَحُمِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ وَالْجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةً وَاحِدَةً ١٤

And the earth and the mountains shall be removed from their places, and crushed with a single crushing,

وَحُمِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ وَالْجِبَالُ

And the earth and the mountains shall be removed from their places,

فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةً وَاحِدَةً

and crushed with a single crushing,

فَيَوْمَئِذٍ وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ ١٥

Then on that Day shall the (Great) Event befall,

فَيَوْمَئِذٍ

Then on that Day

وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ

shall the (Great) Event befall

وَانشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ فَهِيَ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاهِيَةٌ ١٦

And the heaven will split asunder, for that Day it (the heaven will be frail (weak), and torn up,

وَانشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ

And the heaven will split asunder,

فَهِيَ يَوْمَئِذٍ

for that Day it

وَاهِيَةٌ

will be frail (weak), and torn up.

وَالْمَلَكُ عَلَىٰ أَرْجَائِهَا ۚ وَيَحْمِلُ عَرْشَ رَبِّكَ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ ثَمَانِيَةٌ ١٧

And the angels will be on its sides, and eight angels will, that Day, bear the Throne of your Lord above them.

وَالْمَلَكُ عَلَىٰ أَرْجَائِهَا ۚ

And the angels will be on its sides,

وَيَحْمِلُ عَرْشَ رَبِّكَ فَوْقَهُمْ

and eight angels will, that Day, bear the Throne of your Lord above them.

يَوْمَئِذٍ ثَمَانِيَةٌ

that Day, eight.

يَوْمَئِذٍ تُعْرَضُونَ لَا تَخْفَىٰ مِنكُمْ خَافِيَةٌ ١٨

That Day shall you be brought to Judgement, not a secret of you will be hidden.

يَوْمَئِذٍ

That Day

تُعْرَضُونَ

shall you be brought

لَا تَخْفَىٰ مِنكُمْ خَافِيَةٌ

not a secret of you will be hidden
