ذَٰلِكَ وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ حُرُمَاتِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُ عِندَ رَبِّهِ ۗ وَأُحِلَّتْ لَكُمُ الْأَنْعَامُ إِلَّا مَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَاجْتَنِبُوا الرِّجْسَ مِنَ الْأَوْثَانِ وَاجْتَنِبُوا قَوْلَ الزُّورِ ٣٠
That (Manasik prescribed duties of Hajj is the obligation that mankind owes to Allah), and whoever honours the sacred things of Allah, then that is better for him with his Lord. The cattle are lawful to you, except those (that will be) mentioned to you (as exceptions). So shun the abomination (worshipping) of idol, and shun lying speech (false statements)
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That (Manasik prescribed duties of Hajj is the obligation that mankind owes to Allah),
- وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ حُرُمَاتِ اللَّهِ
- and whoever honours the sacred things of Allah,
- فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُ عِندَ رَبِّهِ ۗ
- then that is better for him with his Lord.
- وَأُحِلَّتْ لَكُمُ الْأَنْعَامُ
- The cattle are lawful to you,
- إِلَّا مَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ
- except those (that will be) mentioned to you (as exceptions).
- فَاجْتَنِبُوا الرِّجْسَ مِنَ الْأَوْثَانِ
- So shun the abomination (worshipping) of idol,
- وَاجْتَنِبُوا قَوْلَ الزُّورِ
- and shun lying speech (false statements).
حُنَفَاءَ لِلَّهِ غَيْرَ مُشْرِكِينَ بِهِ ۚ وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَتَخْطَفُهُ الطَّيْرُ أَوْ تَهْوِي بِهِ الرِّيحُ فِي مَكَانٍ سَحِيقٍ ٣١
Hunafa' Lillah (i.e. to worship none but Allah), not associating partners (in worship, etc.) unto Him and whoever assigns partners to Allah, it is as if he had fallen from the sky, and the birds had snatched him, or the wind had thrown him to a far off place.
- حُنَفَاءَ لِلَّهِ
- Hunafa' Lillah (i.e. to worship none but Allah)
- غَيْرَ مُشْرِكِينَ بِهِ ۚ
- not associating partners (in worship, etc.) unto Him
- وَمَن يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ
- and whoever assigns partners to Allah
- فَكَأَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ
- it is as if he had fallen from the sky
- فَتَخْطَفُهُ الطَّيْرُ
- and the birds had snatched him
- أَوْ تَهْوِي بِهِ الرِّيحُ
- or the wind had thrown him
- فِي مَكَانٍ سَحِيقٍ
- to a far off place
ذَٰلِكَ وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ ٣٢
Thus it is [what has been mentioned in the above said Verses (27, 28, 29, 30, 31) is an obligation that mankind owes to Allah]. And whosoever honours the Symbols of Allah, then it is truly from the piety of the heart.
- ذَٰلِكَ
- Thus it is
- وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ
- And whosoever honours the Symbols of Allah
- فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ
- then it is truly from the piety of the heart.
لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ مَحِلُّهَا إِلَى الْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ ٣٣
In them (cattle offered for sacrifice) are benefits for you for an appointed term, and afterwards they are brought for sacrifice unto the ancient House (the Haram - sacred territory of Makkah city).
- لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ
- In them (cattle offered for sacrifice) are benefits for you
- إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى
- for an appointed term
- ثُمَّ مَحِلُّهَا إِلَى الْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ
- and afterwards they are brought for sacrifice unto the ancient House (the Haram - sacred territory of Makkah city)
