۞ هَٰذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ ۖ فَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قُطِّعَتْ لَهُمْ ثِيَابٌ مِّن نَّارٍ يُصَبُّ مِن فَوْقِ رُءُوسِهِمُ الْحَمِيمُ ١٩

These two opponents (believers and disbelievers) dispute with each other about their Lord; then as for those who disbelieve, garments of fire will be cut out for them, boiling water will be poured down over their heads.

۞ هَٰذَانِ خَصْمَانِ

These two opponents

اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ ۖ

dispute with each other about their Lord;

فَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا

then as for those who disbelieve,

قُطِّعَتْ لَهُمْ ثِيَابٌ مِّن نَّارٍ

garments of fire will be cut out for them,

يُصَبُّ مِن فَوْقِ رُءُوسِهِمُ الْحَمِيمُ

boiling water will be poured down over their heads.

يُصْهَرُ بِهِ مَا فِي بُطُونِهِمْ وَالْجُلُودُ ٢٠

With it will melt or vanish away what is within their bellies, as well as (their) skins.

يُصْهَرُ بِهِ

With it will melt or vanish away

مَا فِي بُطُونِهِمْ

what is within their bellies

وَالْجُلُودُ

as well as (their) skins

وَلَهُم مَّقَامِعُ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ ٢١

And for them are hooked rods of iron (to punish them).

وَلَهُم

And for them

مَّقَامِعُ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ

are hooked rods of iron (to punish them)

كُلَّمَا أَرَادُوا أَن يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا مِنْ غَمٍّ أُعِيدُوا فِيهَا وَذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ ٢٢

Every time they seek to get away therefrom, from anguish, they will be driven back therein, and (it will be) said to them: "Taste the torment of burning!"

كُلَّمَا أَرَادُوا

Every time they seek

أَن يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا

to get away therefrom

مِنْ غَمٍّ

from anguish

أُعِيدُوا فِيهَا

they will be driven back therein

وَذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ

and (it will be) said to them: 'Taste the torment of burning!'

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا ۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ ٢٣

Truly, Allah will admit those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, to Gardens underneath which rivers flow (in Paradise), wherein they will be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls and their garments therein will be of silk.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ

Truly, Allah will admit

الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ

those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds

جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ

to Gardens underneath which rivers flow (in Paradise)

يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا ۖ

wherein they will be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls

وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ

and their garments therein will be of silk

وَهُدُوا إِلَى الطَّيِّبِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَهُدُوا إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْحَمِيدِ ٢٤

And they are guided (in this world) unto goodly speech (i.e. La ilaha ill-Allah, Alhamdu lillah, recitation of the Quran, etc.) and they are guided to the Path of Him (i.e. Allah's Religion of Islamic Monotheism), Who is Worthy of all praises.

وَهُدُوا إِلَى الطَّيِّبِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ

And they are guided (in this world) unto goodly speech

وَهُدُوا إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْحَمِيدِ

and they are guided to the Path of Him, Who is Worthy of all praises
