كَلَّا إِذَا دُكَّتِ الْأَرْضُ دَكًّا دَكًّا ٢١
Nay! When the earth is ground to powder,
- كَلَّا
- Nay!
- إِذَا دُكَّتِ الْأَرْضُ
- When the earth is ground
- دَكًّا دَكًّا
- to powder,
وَجَاءَ رَبُّكَ وَالْمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّا ٢٢
And your Lord comes with the angels in rows,
- وَجَاءَ رَبُّكَ
- And your Lord comes
- وَالْمَلَكُ
- with the angels
- صَفًّا صَفًّا
- in rows
وَجِيءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ ۚ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنسَانُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ الذِّكْرَىٰ ٢٣
And Hell will be brought near that Day. On that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance (then) avail him?
- وَجِيءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ ۚ
- And Hell will be brought near that Day.
- يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنسَانُ
- On that Day will man remember,
- وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ الذِّكْرَىٰ
- but how will that remembrance (then) avail him?
يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِي ٢٤
He will say: "Alas! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my life!"
- يَقُولُ
- He will say:
- يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ
- "Alas! Would that I
- لِحَيَاتِي
- had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my life!"
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُ أَحَدٌ ٢٥
So on that Day, none will punish as He will punish.
- فَيَوْمَئِذٍ
- So on that Day
- لَّا يُعَذِّبُ
- none will punish
- عَذَابَهُ
- as He will punish
- أَحَدٌ
وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُ أَحَدٌ ٢٦
And none will bind as He will bind.
- وَلَا يُوثِقُ
- And none will bind
- وَثَاقَهُ
- as He will bind.
