يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا لَقِيتُمْ فِئَةً فَاثْبُتُوا وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ٤٥

O you who believe! When you meet (an enemy) force, take a firm stand against them and remember the Name of Allah much (both with tongue and mind), so that you may be successful.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا

O you who believe!

لَقِيتُمْ فِئَةً فَاثْبُتُوا

When you meet (an enemy) force,

وَاذْكُرُوا

take a firm stand against them

اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ

and remember the Name of Allah much (both with tongue and mind),

تُفْلِحُونَ

so that you may be successful.

وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَا تَنَازَعُوا فَتَفْشَلُوا وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ ۖ وَاصْبِرُوا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ ٤٦

And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength depart, and be patient. Surely, Allah is with those who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.).

وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

And obey Allah and His Messenger,

وَلَا تَنَازَعُوا

and do not dispute (with one another)

فَتَفْشَلُوا وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ ۖ

lest you lose courage and your strength depart,

وَاصْبِرُوا ۚ

and be patient.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

Surely, Allah is with those who are As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.).
