قُلْ إِنَّنِي هَدَانِي رَبِّي إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ دِينًا قِيَمًا مِّلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۚ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ١٦١

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Truly, my Lord has guided me to a Straight Path, a right religion, the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham), Hanifa [i.e. the true Islamic Monotheism - to believe in One God (Allah i.e. to worship none but Allah, Alone)] and he was not of Al-Mushrikun (see V. 2:105)."

قُلْ إِنَّنِي هَدَانِي رَبِّي

Say (O Muhammad SAW): 'Truly, my Lord has guided me

إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

to a Straight Path,

دِينًا قِيَمًا

a right religion,

مِّلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۚ

the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham), Hanifa

وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ

and he was not of Al-Mushrikun.

قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ١٦٢

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Verily, my Salat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

قُلْ

Say (O Muhammad SAW):

إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي

Verily, my Salat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying

لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

are for Allah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).

لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ۖ وَبِذَٰلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ١٦٣

"He has no partner. And of this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims."

لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ۖ

He has no partner.

وَبِذَٰلِكَ أُمِرْتُ

And of this I have been commanded,

وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

and I am the first of the Muslims.

قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ أَبْغِي رَبًّا وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ۚ وَلَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ إِلَّا عَلَيْهَا ۚ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ ١٦٤

Say: "Shall I seek a lord other than Allah, while He is the Lord of all things? No person earns any (sin) except against himself (only), and no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. Then unto your Lord is your return, so He will tell you that wherein you have been differing."

قُلْ أَغَيْرَ اللَّهِ أَبْغِي رَبًّا

Say: 'Shall I seek a lord other than Allah,

وَهُوَ رَبُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ۚ

while He is the Lord of all things?'

وَلَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ إِلَّا عَلَيْهَا ۚ

No person earns any (sin) except against himself (only),

وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۚ

and no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another.

ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ

Then unto your Lord is your return,

فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ

so He will tell you that wherein you have been differing.

وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَائِفَ الْأَرْضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَكُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِيعُ الْعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ١٦٥

And it is He Who has made you generations coming after generations, replacing each other on the earth. And He has raised you in ranks, some above others that He may try you in that which He has bestowed on you. Surely your Lord is Swift in retribution, and certainly He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَائِفَ الْأَرْضِ

And it is He Who has made you generations coming after generations,

وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَكُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ

replacing each other on the earth. And He has raised you in ranks, some above others

لِّيَبْلُوَكُمْ فِي مَا آتَاكُمْ ۗ

that He may try you in that which He has bestowed on you.

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِيعُ الْعِقَابِ

Surely your Lord is Swift in retribution,

وَإِنَّهُ لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

and certainly He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
