وَأَنزَلَ الَّذِينَ ظَاهَرُوهُم مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مِن صَيَاصِيهِمْ وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ فَرِيقًا تَقْتُلُونَ وَتَأْسِرُونَ فَرِيقًا ٢٦

And those of the people of the Scripture who backed them (the disbelievers) Allah brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives.

وَأَنزَلَ الَّذِينَ ظَاهَرُوهُم مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ

And those of the people of the Scripture who backed them (the disbelievers)

مِن صَيَاصِيهِمْ

Allah brought them down from their forts

وَقَذَفَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ

and cast terror into their hearts

فَرِيقًا تَقْتُلُونَ

(so that) a group (of them) you killed

وَتَأْسِرُونَ فَرِيقًا

and a group (of them) you made captives

وَأَوْرَثَكُمْ أَرْضَهُمْ وَدِيَارَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ وَأَرْضًا لَّمْ تَطَئُوهَا ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرًا ٢٧

And He caused you to inherit their lands, and their houses, and their riches, and a land which you had not trodden (before). And Allah is Able to do all things.

وَأَوْرَثَكُمْ

And He caused you to inherit

أَرْضَهُمْ وَدِيَارَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ

their lands, and their houses, and their riches,

وَأَرْضًا لَّمْ تَطَئُوهَا ۚ

and a land which you had not trodden (before).

وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرًا

And Allah is Able to do all things.
