وَالسَّمَاءَ بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ ٤٧

With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof.

وَالسَّمَاءَ

With power did We construct the heaven.

بَنَيْنَاهَا

We constructed it.

بِأَيْدٍ

With power.

وَإِنَّا

Verily, We are.

لَمُوسِعُونَ

Able to extend the vastness of space thereof.

وَالْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَاهَا فَنِعْمَ الْمَاهِدُونَ ٤٨

And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We!

وَالْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَاهَا

And We have spread out the earth,

فَنِعْمَ الْمَاهِدُونَ

how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We!

وَمِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ ٤٩

And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah).

وَمِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

And of everything

خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ

We have created pairs

لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ

that you may remember (the Grace of Allah)

فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ ٥٠

So flee to Allah (from His Torment to His Mercy Islamic Monotheism), verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him.

فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ

So flee to Allah

إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ

verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him

وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ ۖ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ ٥١

And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him.

وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ ۖ

And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah

إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ

Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him

كَذَٰلِكَ مَا أَتَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ ٥٢

Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!"

كَذَٰلِكَ

Likewise,

مَا أَتَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم

no Messenger came to those before them,

مِّن رَّسُولٍ

but a Messenger

إِلَّا قَالُوا

except they said:

سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ

"A sorcerer or a madman!"

أَتَوَاصَوْا بِهِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ ٥٣

Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)!

أَتَوَاصَوْا بِهِ ۚ

Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying

بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ

Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)!

فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَا أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍ ٥٤

So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them (Quraish pagans) you are not to be blamed (as you have conveyed Allah's Message).

فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ

So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them

فَمَا أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍ

you are not to be blamed

وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٥٥

And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers.

وَذَكِّرْ

And remind

فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَىٰ

for verily, the reminding

تَنفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

profits the believers

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ ٥٦

And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone).

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ

And I (Allah) created not

الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ

the jinns and humans

إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ

except they should worship Me (Alone)

مَا أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ ٥٧

I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures).

مَا أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم

I seek not any provision from them

مِّن رِّزْقٍ

(i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures)

وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ

nor do I ask that they should feed Me

إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِينُ ٥٨

Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ

Verily, Allah

هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ

is the All-Provider

ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِينُ

Owner of Power, the Most Strong

فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ذَنُوبًا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَابِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ ٥٩

And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on!

فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا

And verily, for those who do wrong,

ذَنُوبًا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَابِهِمْ

there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old),

فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ

so let them not ask Me to hasten on!

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن يَوْمِهِمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ ٦٠

Then, woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness Islamic Monotheism) from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment).

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا

Then, woe to those who disbelieve

مِن يَوْمِهِمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ

from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment)
